New Jersey City University
PROJECT: Recruitment CD; logo design | www.njcu.edu
This information and recruitment CD was actually one of two projects we produced for New Jersey City University in 2006. The CD had a twofold purpose: to appeal to high school juniors and seniors considering their college options, and to be a guide to incoming transfer students. The project included archival research, interviews, student and faculty focus groups, storyboards, scripts, videotaping, audio recording, package design, and printing.
The CD was designed as an on- and offline resource. It included a history and tour of the school, videotaped student interviews, descriptions of the degree programs, a matriculation guide, a folder of frequently used documents, and links to further resources on the school Web site. The videotaping, CD programming, and package design was handled by Daz Media, and the printing by Vandalay Media.
The second project was a redesign of the main NJCU logo to include the College of Education, and a new logo and package imprint for the Transfer Resource Center, all of which can be seen in the slide show below. Blue Kite Design executed the logo and Tellmedia did the TRC imprints.
